Senator Nelson joined Texas school children and Michelle Aguilar of Saginaw, who lost 110 pounds to win NBC's hit show "The Biggest Loser," on the front steps of the Capitol this week to promote healthy lifestyles among Texas' youth. More than 40% of Texas' youth are obese or overweight, putting them at high risk for serious chronic illnesses. "Unfortunately, we have lost our way when it comes to ensuring exercise for our children at a time when they need it the most. We have to get back to the basics of ensuring student health."
